Wordpress Plugin: Wordpress Upgrade Made Easy

Just finished upgrading Wordpress to 2.3.3. I could have handled the upgrade myself, but I wanted to make this as quick as possible. So I found this great plugin called Wordpress Automatic Upgrade, that basically does what it says: it upgrades your Wordpress install automatically.

This was a thing of beauty. Even my mom could use this plugin! If you’re not the technical type, but still want to roll using the latest Wordpress version, this is the plugin for you. Not only it updates everything while keeping your plugins intact, but also generates downloadable ZIP files with backups of your files and database tables.

I’d say this one’s a keeper! ;)

  2. This is a great idea. I keep seeing the link on my WP blog that says Upgrade Now — but I’m always nervous about doing so — especially because of the backup issue. I’ve already bookmarked two of your pages for future reference. Thanks much for your posts!
