Home Office Upgrade: Fresh Paint, New Furniture, New Hardware

I’ve been busy these last couple of days with the redesign of my home office. Two months ago I celebrated 1 year of full time freelancing and self-employment. During this year, I didn’t make any major investment in furniture or hardware.

So last week I said goodbye to my old home office and created a brand new IKEA working space. I also retired my old PC and bought a new Dell XPS M1530.

Here are some before and after pictures:

After

I’m glad I finally took the time and made this move. My new home office will help me be better organized, more efficient, more productive. ;)

    Hey Adrian!
Like the new look office. Well done, but I don’t even want to ask how much time it took you to build the stuff from IKEA. I hate building!!!

I have 2 new million $ projects :-) in the pipeline…are you ready? I will be in touch this week. 2 new guys are interested in rockin’ with the rockstar freelancer.

    Ikea’s Dokument? :)

@Ryan: Yeah, it took me about a day or two to put together the whole thing. Those cabinets had like 100 nuts and bolts. But I like this kind of work! :)
And yes, I’m all set now and looking forward to working with you again. I know I owe you an answer. I’ll get in touch later today.
@Mike: What document is that? :)

Yes, Mike, that’s the one! Only I use mine for beer cans rather than documents. :)
